The choice of smokeless coal depends on your application (see Fuels by Application) and what you want your fuel to deliver. For blacksmithing, we recommend Blacksmith’s Breeze, a small-grain coke bean with high intense heat and low smoke. For domestic use, the type of coal you choose depends on the type of fireplace, burner or boiler you are fuelling, so see our dropdown menu ‘Fuels by Application’.
Smokeless fuels come in different grains and sizes, including fine grains, ‘beans’, and small and large nuts. They vary in terms of heat output, efficiency in different applications and how long they burn, as well as the waste materials they generate.
There are a few fuels that we recommend as our best-sellers, but we would encourage you to give us a call for friendly, no-obligation advice regarding which fuel would be most suitable for your needs.
We provide free delivery within a 15-mile radius of Wolverhampton with a minimum order of 150kg. Deliveries outside this area are palletized kerbside deliveries with a minimum order of 250kg, and coal delivery fees are calculated at checkout. For more information, please check our Delivery page.
